Your adventure at the Robot Restaurant starts with picking up a ticket for the performance in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo. The restaurant itself is located in what could be considered a seedy area - which probably isn't that surprising given the inclusions within the show itself. I have heard the Robot Restaurant described as what would come into being if you gave a ten year old boy an unlimited chequebook and told him to design whatever his heart desires... there are robots, and women, and remote controlled musical instruments, and more women, and dinosaurs, and boxing, and laser lights and glowsticks and drums, and action, and caramel popcorn and beer. Lots of beer.
That description is eerily accurate. The whole performance is quite incredible, and very well choreographed to ensure no injuries to either audience or performers.
